Website Overview
We designed BroadwayJoe.tv with Namath's goals and vision in mind. It was important to allow fans to choose the color scheme of the site to match the Joe Namath they cheered for - Crimson for the Alabama fans and Green for the New York Jets. The three-column layout of the site allows us to feature his video content, while also highlighting his initiatives on and offline to the left and right. In addition, we created a custom store for fans to purchase branded merchandise and apparel.

Custom Color SchemeJoe Namath is an iconic athlete and public figure so it was important to focus heavily on his brand. He also has two distinct fan bases: those who remember Joe as a New York Jet and those who saw him play in Crimson for the University of Alabama. Keeping that in mind, we wanted each audience to have a tailored experience with a custom color scheme and personalized video messages from Joe on the Jets theme and Kenny Chesney for the Alabama fans. broadwayjoe.tv |
Highlighting Social MediaTo help build Joe's presence in the social media space we featured the key elements above the fold. Utilizing our knowledge of UI, we put the social calls-to-action where users would easily notice and interact with them. We included a Facebook 'Like' box to highlight the community on that platform and included his Twitter feed to enable fans to read keep up with Joe without even being taken off the page. broadwayjoe.tv |
Integrated Online StoreJoe's store features various personally branded items that he wanted to showcase on his website. The store utilizes a user-friendly gallery layout with the ability to highlight specific products.
